[실제 영어 #09] 명절 관련 단어들

일반적으로 '많다'는 표현할 때, many 또는 much를 사용합니다. 

그러나 셀 수 있는지 없는지에 따라 구분해야 하므로 대신 a lot of 를 자유롭게 주로 사용한다고 합니다. 

그리고 'noun of noun' 보다는 'noun's noun'이 좀 더 자연스럽다고 하네요. 

the flavor of coffee (x), coffee's flavor(o)

대표 음식을 말할 때, representative dish(x)가 아닌 the most famous food, the most popular food를 쓴다고 합니다. 

역시 영어는 쉬운 표현을 쓰는게 최고인 듯 합니다. 

명절하면 대표적으로 설날과 추석이 있습니다. 

설날: The lunar new year holiday, Lunar new year's day

추석: The thanksgiving holiday, Thanksgiving day

아래에 명절과 관련된 동사와 명사를 적어봅니다. 

a, some, the를 적절히 활용해서 아래 동사와 명사를 조합하면 문장을 만들 수 있습니다.
