[실제 영어 #07] 커피숍 관련 긴 문장을 만들어 보자

먼저 자주 헤깔리는 단어의 뉘앙스를 알아보도록 하죠. 

nervous, embarrased, stressed out 인데요. 

nervous는 어떤 행동을 할 것이 걱정 될 때 사용하는 표현이구요 (to worry about action)

embrarrased는 실수를 한 것에 대한 걱정, 당황한 상황입니다. (to make a mistake)

stressed out은 어렵거나 할 시간이 없어서 걱정하는 상황을 이야기 합니다. (to have no time to work, difficult)

앞에서 커피숍의 물건을 전치사구를 이용해서 설명하는 부분을 연습했습니다. 

이제 보다 상세하게 설명하는 내용으로 만들어 보겠습니다. 

You can see a travel mug on the desk. 

It has the word "Starbucks" on the front.

It has a black plastic lid on the top. 

It is made of stainless steel. 

처음 언급한 단어를 it으로 받아서 계속 설명하고 있습니다. 

From the outside, you can see 2 green umbrellas surrounded by some chairs and tables. 

They have the word "Starbucks" is parallel to the bottom. 

They are made of a waterproof fabric. 

앞서 만들었던 문장으로 구체화를 시켜봤습니다. 

From the outside, you can see the logo at the right angles to the coffee shop's name. 

It has the word "Starbucks" is running long the right. 

In addition, you can see some round tables surrounded by chairs. 

They have four legs and sun umbrella. 

They are made of a wood and steel. 

이제 "which"를 사용해서 좋아하는 장소를 구체적으로 설명해 보겠습니다. 

My favorite + "coffee shop" + which is called '.....' + is located + 'General place' + 'Specific place' 순으로 진행합니다. 

coffee shop, bakery, restaurant, clothing store, movie theater, dessert shop, bar, sining room, bath house 등을 이렇게 소개할 수 있습니다. 

My favorite coffee shop which is called 'Starbucks' is located in Seoul directly opposite 'Homeplus'

여기에 좋아하는 이유를 붙여볼 수도 있습니다. 

One reason I like this place is because of + 'the prices'... + for example + ....

the prices, the service, the atmosphere, the convenience, the parking, the quality 등을 넣을 수 있죠.. 

그리고 난 다음 for example ... 로 구체적으로 설명하면 됩니다.   

One reason I like this place is because of the convenience, for example it is close proximity to my house.
